Today it is necessary for organizations to distinguish themselves through intangible
assets such as integrated strategy, leadership and in particular talent management. In
order to respond to the complex and varying environment, talent management
encompasses personal and organizational development; therefore, talent management
is considered as an important factor in the organizations’ competitive advantage. The
current study is a practical one. It is a descriptive data collection survey and a
correlational research. Statistical population consists of 044 employees and managers
of Iran’s International Engineering Company. Using random sampling, 791 individuals
were selected as the sample. Using Cronbach’s alpha the reliability of talent
management questionnaire and SMART PLS competitive advantage questionnaire
was taken care of and it was calculated to be 4990 and 4990 respectively. In order to test
the research hypnosis’s, SMART PLS software and inferential statistics were used.
Results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between absorption,
development, selection and talent retention system and competitive. There is also a
positive and significant relationship between talent management system and
competitive advantage in Iran’s International Engineering Company. But, there is no
significant relationship between talent utilization system and competitive advantage in
Iran’s International Engineering Company.
