Sartakht zeolite deposit are composed of authigenic clinoptilolite, mordenite smectite and opal-CT.
Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) examination prove that clinoptilolite as a tabular mineral is associated
with opal-CT in a dissolution space. X-ray diffraction studies indicate that this mineral is monoclinic, space
group C2/m,a= 17.62Ǻ, b =17.906Ǻ, c =7.395Ǻ, β=116.15°.
