Different membranes prepared from blending different molecular weights of poly(ethylene glycol)
(PEG) with acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) matrix. Natural gas treatment has been
considered via the separation of CO2 from its simple gas mixture with CH4. Here, the effect of
PEG content on gas transport properties and the effect of pressure on CO2 permeability have been
investigated. The results showed that PEG addition increases the selectivity without significant
changes in CH4 permeability.
