Transient Analysis of Wind Power Plant Connected to Network

- Nowadays renewable energy is very improved and used in different types. Wind energy is one of the renewable energy that is used as island or network connected. One of important problems in wind energy is transient behavior of this power plant. In this paper, transient analysis of wind power plants is performed considering different types of fault, i.e. symmetrical and unsymmetrical faults. Also effect of resistance in the single line to ground faults is studied. Furthermore, modeling of storm is discussed and its effect on the stability and transient of wind power plant is investigated. Some of the simulation results are presented and compared with the previous published results
