Rate data have been obtained for CO hydrogenation over co-precipitated well-characterized Co–
Ce/SiO2 catalyst, studied in a fixed-bed micro reactor at the atmospheric pressure under the
conditions of 473–573 K, H2/CO feed ratio (mol/mol) of 1 and 1.5, and space velocity in the range
2700–5200 h-1. The kinetic parameters were estimated with non-linear regression method. The
data were best fitted by a Langmuir–Hinshelwood–Hougen–Watson (LHHW) approach rate in the
form ofThe activation energies for LHHW approach
model and power law equation were obtained 31.57 kJ/mol and 22.9 kJ/mol, respectively.
