Oxidative coupling of methahane (OCM) is a promising route for the productionn of ethylene by oxidation of methane, the mmain constituent of natural gas. Na2WO4,Mn/SiO2 is oone of the most effective catalysts for OCM M and has been widely used in most recent researcheess. In this work, oxidative coupling of methahane over (x= 2,2,7. wt %) K2WO4,(2wt %)Mn/SiOO2 catalysts has been studied and optimized ccombination for K,4,Mn/SiO2 catalyst has been achhiieved. Catalysts were prepared by sequentiai al impregnation method. The structural properties oof the prepared catalysts were determined uusing XRD and FT, ). Activity testing was carried out in a quartz fixed,bed micro reactor at tototal flow rate of 80 ml/min and 0.3g loaded catalysstt. Efficiency of
catalysts was studied at 850oo ,7. It appeared C and CH4/O2 ratio was maintained in the range of f 22 that (5wt %)K2WO4,(2wt %%)Mn/SiO2 catalyst leads to the best results. The maaxximum yield of C2+ of this catalyst was s 19.05% which shows 6% yield improvement comparing to (2wt%)K2WO4,(2wt%)Mn/SSiO2 catalyst.
