In this study five different kinds of catalysts containing calcium oxide have been prepared. We loaded calcium nitrate on three form of idusterial and campared their application with powder of CaO and coral as a source of CaO on methyl ester production. The experimental condition were 5wt. % catalyst content, the methanol:oil molar ratio of 12:1 and reaction temperature was and reaction time was 8h. The coral gave the best result and methyl ester content was achieved to 99% in presence of it.
