In this work, nanocrystals of NaA zeolite with crystallite sizes ranging from 70-120 nm were
synthesized. Nano crystalline NaA zeolites were prepared using sodium aluminosilicate solution
and tetramethylammonium hydroxide organic template. The crystal species were characterized by
X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns and morphology of the zeolites subjected to crystallization was
characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). At this research, the zeolite crystallinity
89% was obtained. The effect of water content on crystal size was studied and the results showed
that the crystal size decreases with decreasing the water content.
