Effect of the modified zeolites with different amount of phosphorous (P/HZSM-5) on catalytic
performance for the methanol to propylne (MTP) process was investigated. The modification of
catalysts were carried out by wet impregnation and dry impregnation methods and the effect of
that objects were studied on the catalytic performance of HZSM-5 (SiO2/Al2O3=100) zeolites in
MTP process. The investigation of product distribution showed that the selectivity to propylene
decreased with increasing phosphorous content. The higher propylene selectivity achieved with
dry impregnation method.
