Storage of carbon dioxide in oil reservoirs is considered as one of the main ways to reduce the
greenhouse emissions. Different methods have been proposed to calculate the storage capacity of
carbon dioxide in an Iranian oil reservoir. Storage capacity of carbon dioxide in the studied reservoir
by water flooding model was calculated to be 67.856 Mt. Using analogy method different estimates in
three levels of minimum, moderate and maximum values may be obtained. These values has been
calculated to be 16.17 Mt, 116.43 Mt and 323.44 Mt, respectively.
