There are potential hazards in chemical industries and installations. That makes injury, lateral injury and financial damages. Commonly the dangers of industrials units appear as occurrences such as conflagration, explosion or leaking of toxic material. These events could be happening due to some problems in design of this processes, the technical defection equipment or human errors. The modeling of accidents is one of the modern tools to evaluating of the risk rating and also to promote the immunity in this industry. In this research the outcomes have been analyzed due to accidently rupture of ammonia storage tanks in one of the petrochemical companies in the country. Ammonia is one of the materials that is produced in so many of the petrochemical industries. This material is both flammable and toxic that its health hazards are dependent to amount of material exposed and also exposure time, and more serious according to its flammability danger. In this paper by using PHAST software it has been tried to study the different scenarios occurring after the ammonia tank rupture. By analyzing the results, some appropriate actions to immune of the equipment and chemical and petrochemical installations can be proposed.
