In this paper, by using split Hopkinson indirect tensile bar test, the dynamic behavior of C10200 copper under different strain rates is studied. After post-processing achieved data in program, stress-strain curves of copper under different strain rate are presented. Using these curves, Johnson-Cook model’s constants have been determined. According to these experiments, it is observed that mechanical behavior of copper under different strain rates changes. In fact, as the strain rate increases the flow stress and the uniform elongation increase. The results reveal that by increasing the gage length of specimens, the deformation in the gage length region becomes nonhomogeneous.
