In this paper, stress- rupture and creep life assessment of Inconel 713LC superalloy is studied. Nickle -Based creep resisting alloy of IN713LC, strengthened by γ , is the basic material for high temperature parts in aircraft engine. So IN713 LC samples were creep rupture tested in air between 870-898 °C at stress levels of 298-322 MPa and then investigated the use of Larson-Miller parameter and Monkman-Grant method for the life prediction of IN713LC superalloy on the basis of creep data. The mean stress exponent, n, and the mean activation energy for creep were calculated from the experimental results. According to the results, both methods were suitable for life assessment of IN713LC. But Monkman-Grant method offered the higher degree of fit.
