In this paper, a new feed-forward fractional-order PD optimal controller is proposed for a class of fractional-order MIMO (FO-MIMO) systems subjected to sinusoidal disturbances. The optimal parameters of the proposed fractional-order PD controller are obtained with the relations between the time domain state space optimal control and the frequency domain output feedback. By the proposed method, the objective of optimal control is achieved. As well as, the effect of external sinusoidal disturbances is reduced. The employed simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed fractional-order optimal disturbance rejection controller.
