چكيده فارسي :
In this work, a mathematical model was developed for oil-in-water oil demulsification under ultrasonic wave effect. Population balance integration terms were simplified by fixed pivot technique. Due to the complexity of the mathematical model, a stiff ordinary differential equation set was obtained in the model and MATLAB programming was used to solve ODE sets. As a result, droplet number was calculated in terms of ultrasonic irradiation time. The results were compared with experimental data and a good agreement was observed
