    In the present study, electrooxidation of isopropyl alcohol was investigated on Pd based electrocatalyst by using different electrochemical techniques such as: Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and Chronoamperometry (CA). Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were also employed to physicochemical survey of the electrocatalyst. The kinetic parameters of alcohol oxidation, i.e. Tafel slope and activation energy (Ea), were determined on the catalyst. This study upholds the fact that isopropyl alcohol is a promising fuel candidate for a direct alkaline alcohol fuel cell.
