In this paper, we focus on the optimal subcarrier and power allocation scheme in a two relay network in LTEAdvanced. In order to improve the data rate of cell-edge users and remote areas of the transmitter, two relays in each sector of the cell is located. Ideally, the subchannel and power allocation should be designed jointly, that in this paper while distribute power with waterfilling manner, subchannel allocates to help proposed method. Since QoS provision is one of the major design objectives in cellular networks, we further formulate a lexicographical optimization problem to maximize the minimum rate of all users while improving the overall throughput. Due to the low rate data users, we propose an efficient, higher data rate suboptimal joint power allocation and channel assignment simultaneously. Both theoretical and numerical analyses demonstrate that our proposed scheme can drastically improve the fairness as well as the overall throughput. According to simulation results, with that change the number of relays from one to two in each sector data rate users increases, significantly.
