Synthesis of polyaniline nanocomposite by using hydroxypropyl cellulose and poly (vinylpyrrolidone) as surfactant

In this study Polyaniline was prepared in aqueous media by using of various surfactants such as hydroxypropyl cellulose and poly (vinyl pyrrolidone) with different concentrations. The polymers were characterized in terms of morphology and chemical structure by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), respectively. The results indicated that the morphology and chemical structure of the products were dependent on the type and concentration of surfactants. The results of FTIR indicated that the intensity of peaks is dependent on the type of surfactants.
