هنر و علي الخصوص هنر موسيقي، زبان مشترك ميان فرهنگها و تجلي بخش ذهن خلاق طراحان و معماران در خلق آثار و المانهاي ماندگار و تاًثير گذار محسوب مي شود. در همين راستا و با توجه به خصوصيات منحصر به فرد موسيقي و فرهنگ برخاسته از آن از يكسو و تعامل و برهم كنش هنر معماري و موسيقي از سوي ديگر، معماران را بر آن داشته تا در طراحي هاي خود از اين واقعيت غافل نمانند. با توجه به اين امر، تحقيق پيش رو بدنبال تاثير موسيقي بر ارتقاء نشاط اجتماعي مي باشد تحقيق حاضر به دنبال تاثير موسيقي بر ارتقاء نشاط اجتماعي است به گونه اي كه بتوان در بعد زمان نيز حركت كرد. فضايي كه همچون موسيقي بتواند دنياي متفاوتي خلق كند و در جهت بيان و انتقال احساسات باشد، بر اين اساس اطلاعات مربوط به مباني نظري تحقيق شامل اطلاعات تئوري مرتبط با موسيقي و نشاط اجتماعي و تبادل فرهنگي مردم و عوامل مؤثر بر ارتقاء سطح كيفي ارزش ها و جنبش هاي اجتماعي و مطالعاتي مرتبط با موسيقي و كليه فضاهاي اجتماعي و تجمعي مردم بررسي شده است كه نهايتاً ميتوان به اين نتيجه دست يافت كه معماري مكان و بصري است و موسيقي زمان و سمعي. معماري ثابت و ايستا است و موسيقي متحرك و پويا. در اين تحقيق سعي شده است جهت ارتقاء حس همدلي و نشاط اجتماعي از موسيقي درماني در راستاي ايجاد نشاط اجتماعي استفاده گردد.
