Carbon-based solid-acid Nanocatalyst (SPH-SO3H) was prepared by the thermal treatment of sulfuric acid with starch and poly)vinyl chloride( at 180 C in a sealed autoclave. Then the Nano catalyst was characterized by means of Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) and Fourier-transform infrared spectra (FT-IR). SPH-SO3H Nanoparticles was used as an efficient catalysts for the one-pot synthesis of pranopyrazoles using hydrazinehydrate, ethylacetoacetate, malononitrile and aldehyde conditions at room temperature in high yields .
