Incorporation of TiO2 into zeolite cavities using aqueous solution of ammonium titanyl oxalate
monohydrate, (NH4)2TiO(C2O4)2H2O, has been developed. Photocatalytic degradation of Safranin-o with
TiO2 fixed on zeolite Y was studied. The effects of various parameters, such as the amount of the
photocatalyst, pH value, illumination time and initial concentration were also investigared.
