ZSM-5 was synthesized by Zonouz kaolin and characterized by XRD, FT-IR and SEM micrograph. Then
the catalysts prepared by mixing of metal compounds (Fe2O3, K2CO3, V2O5) and ZSM-5 zeolite and Prepared
catalysts were characterized by XRD and content elements of the prepared catalysts were measured by ICP
spectrometer. The prepared catalysts were applied for degradation of polystyrene and analysis of degradation
products were done by GC, GC-MS. The highest yield of monomer styrene obtained from polystyrene was
97.5wt%.
