ساخت يك شهر هوشمند نيازمند اقداماتي يكپارچه در سطوح مختلف شهرداري و بافت اجتماعي است. شهر هوشمند يك مفهوم كل نگر است كه هدف آن مقابله با چالش معاصر و بهره برداري از فرصت هاي اخير ارايه شده توسط پيشرفت هاي فناوري اطلاعات و ارتباطات و شهرنشيني است. شهر هوشمند شهري 24 ساعته است كه امور شهري در تمام شبانه روز در آن جريان دارد، ارائه خدمات با سرعت و كارائي بالا در حوزه شهر، همزمان با كاهش هزينه ها، ترافيك و آلودگي ها و ... متصور است. بر اين اساس اين پژوهش با هدف القاي درست مفهوم شهر هوشمند و بررسي شاخص هاي شهر هوشمند، مفهوم، ضرورت، اهداف و شاخص هاي آن و همچنين نمونه هايي از شهرهاي هوشمند و امكانات آن ها ارائه شده است.

Building a smart city requires integrated measures at various levels of the municipality and social fabric. Smart City is a holistic concept that aims to cope with the contemporary challenge of exploiting the opportunities offered by the advances in information technology and communications and urbanization. The smart city is a 24-hour city, where city affairs go all day and night, offering high speed and high-speed services in the city, while reducing costs, traffic and pollution, and so on. Accordingly, this research is aimed at instilling the concept of the smart city and the study of the smart city indicators, the concept, necessity, goals and indicators, as well as examples of smart cities and their facilities.
