In the last few decades, photocatalyst processes as a modern technology is used for the degradation of organic pollutants in industrial wastewater.In this investigation, a facial sonochemical route has been developed for the preparation of neodymium vanadate nanostructures by using neodymium nitrate hexahydrate and ammonium metavanadateas precursors.Nanosize morphologies of nanostructures were observed in the presence of amine as an alkaline and capping agent.The prepared catalyst showssuitable efficiency as stable semiconductoron photocatalytic activity for degradation of Eriochorme black T as pollution model under UV light irradiation. Dye removal of 63 % was achieved after irradiation time of 75 min.Neodymium vanadate nanostructures were characterized by scanning electron microscopy )SEM( and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR).
