چكيده فارسي :
This study investigated effects of different concentrations of vinasse on growth and survival of two species of Artemia (A. franciscana and A. parthenogenetica). Artemia franciscana and Artemia parthenogenetica were grown up at two concentrations of vinasse (62.5 and 125 µl.L-1). The results demonstrated that there were highly significant differences in survival among Artemia species grown in different concentrations of vinasse diets, but no significant differences was observed in total length of A. franciscana fed on 125µl.L-1 and 20% algae compare to those fed on standard diet (P 0.05). Total length in A.parthenogenetica was significantly higher than those received vinasse (P 0.05). Probably, using vinasse in these concentrations due to high COD and BOD led to the excessive proliferation of bacteria in Artemia media and had a negative effect on oxygen consumption and digestibility. It is likely that use of vinasse in lower concentrations have more ability for making better growth of Artemia species.
