In today s world, the population is increasing day by day, along with the excessive use of energy and pollution caused by human activities, is a major problem in environmental protection. Forecast and futurism have always been a concern for engineers and architects who have come to the realization And the production of tools for their use in the future. By reviewing the past architecture and looking at the future, we will see that this future is generally defined by the materials and technologies that will be built in time. The latest of these materials and technologies are smart materials. Smart materials are materials that try to adapt to environmental conditions and react to changes in the environment. With the help of intelligent materials, future buildings will be buildings that will be able to change their color, size and shape in exchange with their surroundings. In the perspective of designing sustainable buildings, such high-performance materials that have a more environmentally friendly nature and prolong the useful life of the building are used. The research in this paper is descriptive-analytical and based on documentary studies.
