Comparing Team Cohesion Scale in elite and novice table tennis athletes

مقدمه: هدف پژوهش حاضر مقايسه انسجام تيمي در ورزشكاران نخبه و مبتدي تنيس روي ميز بود. روش شناسي: بدين منظور 47 بازيكن نخبه و 44 بازيكن مبتدي از هيات‌هاي تنيس روي ميز استان‌هاي آذربايجان‌غربي، تهران، كردستان، مشهد و يزد انتخاب شدند. براي جمع آوري داده‌ها از پرسشنامه انسجام گروهي كارون، ويدماير و براولي استفاده شد. تجزيه و تحليل داده‌ها با استفاده از آزمون T مستقل در سطح معناداري (05/0P ) انجام شد. نتايج: نتايج نشان دادند كه تفاوت معناداري بين دو گروه از نظر انسجام گروهي وجود ندارد (05/0P ). علاوه بر اين سطح مهارت و جنسيت نيز بر انسجام گروهي اثري ندارد (05/0P ). از ميان خرده مقياس‌هاي انسجام گروهي، كشش فرد به گروه - اجتماعي در بازيكنان زن نسبت به بازيكنان مرد بيشتر است. نتيجه‌گيري: به دليل ماهيت انفرادي رشته تنيس روي ميز و عدم وجود ساختار تيمي، ادراك بازيكنان از همبستگي اجتماعي كمتر مي باشد؛ بنابراين مولفه انسجام گروهي متاثر از اندازه گروه مي‌باشند.

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to compare team cohesion in elite and novice table tennis players. Method: For this purpose, 47 elite players and 44 novice players were selected from table tennis teams in the provinces of Azerbaijan, Tehran, Kordestan, Mashhad and Yazd. Shot Team Cohesion questionnaire was used to collect data. Data analysis was performed using independent t-test at a significant level (P 0.05). Results: The results showed that there was no significant difference in team cohesion between the two groups (P 0.05). Skill level and gender effects on team cohesion were not significant in team cohesion. Among the scales of team cohesion, individual stretch to social group in female players is higher than that of male players. Conclusion: Due to the individual nature of the table tennis field and the lack of team structure, players perception of social solidarity is less; therefore, the component of group cohesion is influenced by the size of the group.
