}In this paper, we introduce the concept of a maximum edge eccentricity matrix 𝑀{_{𝑒}}_{𝑒 (G) of a connected graph G and obtain some coefficients of the characteristic polynomial P(G,υ) of the maximum edge eccentricity matrix of G. We also introduce the maximum edge eccentricity energy 𝐸𝑀{_{𝑒}}_{𝑒 (G) of a connected graph.
