In this paper, we present a new numerical method to solve an optimal control problem of a linear time varying delay systems. In this method, we use the cardinal Hermite functions as basis functions for approximation of functions. Also, we obtain operational matrices of integration and delay and use them to reduce the mentioned optimal control problem to a system of algebratic equations, which can be solved using newton’s iteration method.

In this paper, we present a new numerical method to solve an optimal control problem of a linear time varying delay systems.
