چكيده : در عصر حاضر، تضمين تداوم حيات و بقاي سازمان ها نيازمند راه حل ها و روش هاي جديد مقابله با مشكلات است، يكي از مهمترين اين راه ها به ايجاد خلاقيت و نوآوري در روش ها، فرآيند ها و محصولات جديد، در سازمان بستگي دارد. در اين ميان از مديران كارآفرين، به عنوان پرچمداران اصلي سازمان ها و موتور توسعه و حركت، جهت رسيدن به اين مقصود ياد مي شود. نقش مدير كارآفرين، در ايجاد مجموعه هايي كه خلاقيت و نوآوري از ضروريات و عامل اصلي است، بسيار مهم و حساس است. اين مقاله در پي آن است، كه روشن كند، مديران مي توانند توانايي و استعداد خلاقيت و نوآوري را در افراد ايجاد، ترويج و تشويق كنند و يا رفتار و عملكرد آنها مي تواند مانع اين امر حياتي شود. هنر مدير كارآفرين، استفاده از خلاقيت ديگران و پيدا كردن ذهن هاي خلاق و نوآوراست، بطوريكه مدير كارآفرين بايد فضايي بيافريند كه افراد در سازمان را به خلاقيت و نوآوري تحريك و ترغيب كند و در نهايت بدانيم كه همه مديران اختيار رسمي براي مديريت كردن دارند ولي همه انها كارآفرين نيستند، مديراني كه روحيه كارآفريني دارند موثرترند. در واقع توسعه كارآفريني موتور توسعه اقتصادي است و مديران كارآفرين نيز به عنوان معياري با اهميت براي بيان سطح توسعه يافتگي هر كشور مي باشند.
