: The interaction of disperse azo dye with bovine serum albumin (BSA) , in 20 mM phosphate buffer pH 7.4 was investigated using advanced techniques including fluorescence, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR). The fluorescence quenching measurements showed a single binding site on BSA for dispers azo dye with the binding constant (Kb) value equals to 3/39×104 at 25°C. The results showed that quenching mechanism of BSA by dispers azo dye was of dynamic type.
