The Quantum-mechanical investigation is presented to study single attosecond pulse generation by gating high-order harmonic emission from H2+ in intense laser pulses with time-dependent ellipticity. Numerical solution of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation employing static coherent states (SCS) method for H2+ has been investigated. The SCS has been performed aiming generation of the attosecond pulse.
