Chemical ionization of thiosemicarbazide in corona discharge environment was investigated using ion mobility spectrometry. Two peaks were observed in the ion mobility spectrum in the positive ion mode. The mean peak was assigned to the protonated thiosemicarbazide, and the other one was assigned to a fragment ion produced by thermal decomposition of the sample. The experimental results were confirmed with the use of theoretical calculations. The most probable protonated structure of thiosemicarbazide was found to be sulfur protonated isomer
