In this research, for the first time, the extrudates gamma alumina prepared from Boehmite powderof the Nephleensinite ore mine. In order to enhance the physical properties of the catalyst support, the prepared extrudats were treated in high concentration nitric acid at different times, and the effect of treatment times on the basic properties as the Surface Area (S.A.) and Average Pore Diameter (A.P.D.) were studied. These effects were studied by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2-adsorption/desorption (BET) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) techniques.
