\In this study, the water content was predicted in type of aromatic polyamides at high degrees of polymerization at high temperatures. To model the experimental results, a semi-experimental Flory-Huggins theory was used. The model contains only two fitted parameters, and is able to describe the available data for the effects of temperature on the water concentration in the polymer at various water partial pressures.
