In order to study the thermodynamic of aqueous solutions of tetraalkylammonium bromide (TAAB) salts and to better understanding of ion-ion, ion-solvent, and solvent-solvent interactions, the systematic studies included the volumetric and compressibility, were carried out on these systems. The salts tetramethylammonium bromide (TMAB), tetraethylammonium bromide (TEAB), tetrapropylammonium bromide (TPAB), and tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBAB) were selected. The volumetric and compressibility measurements were carried out for the aqueous solutions of these salts at different temperatures. The experimental density and sound velocity data were used to calculate the apparent molar volume (V_(φ,s)) and apparent molar isentropic compressibility of the solutes (κ_(φ,s)), and isentropic compressibility of solutions (S). In order to investigate the solute-solvent interactions, the infinite dilution quantities such as the infinite dilution apparent molar volume (V_(φ,s)^0), infinite dilution apparent molar isentropic compressibilities (κ_(φ,s)^0), and the partial molar expansibilities (E0) were calculated.
