Dielectric study of 1,3 and 1,4-butandiol and cyclopentanone

Abstract:The dielectric permittivity measurements in the low frequency were performed for 1,3 and 1,4-butanediol with cyclopentanone mixtures at various concentrations at T = 298.15 and p = 101.3 kPa . Molecular interactions among the 1,3 and 1,4- Butandiol –cyclpentanone mixtures have been studied using Kirkwood correlation factor.The experimental data were analyzed in terms of the various approaches in order to obtain information about the intermolecular interactions and the mixture structure. The dielectric permittivity provides useful information on the intermolecular interactions in liquids..
