Optical Phase Transition in Janes-Cummings Model with Counter Rotating Wave

دراين مقاله نشان داده شده است يك گذار فاز اپتيكي در سامانه اتم #38;shy;هاي دو ترازه و فوتون #38;shy;ها تحت #38;nbsp;ناكوكي بسيار زياد و تقريب موج پاد چرخان، وجود دارد. #38;nbsp; محاسبات ما نشان مي #38;shy;دهد كه #38;nbsp;سامانه در اين تقريب #38;nbsp; نيز داراي دو فاز تابشي #38;nbsp;كاملا مجزا، #38;nbsp;فاز معمولي و فاز ابرتابشي، مي #38;shy;باشد. در فاز معمولي انرژي حالت پايه هاميلتوني كل، تحت ناكوكي بسيار زياد، #38;nbsp;حالتي را #38;nbsp;به #38;shy;دست مي #38;shy;دهد كه در آن ميانگين فوتون #38;shy;ها صفر(فاز معمولي) #38;nbsp;است. از طرف ديگر اگر ضريب جفتيدگي اتم-فوتون #38;nbsp;از يك مقدار بحراني تجاوز كند، در حالت پايه ميانگين فوتون #38;shy;ها غير صفر بوده و سامانه به فاز ابرتابشي گذار مي #38;shy;نمايد. همچنين نشان مي #38;shy;دهيم كه اين گذار فاز از مرتبه دوم مي #38;shy;باشد.

In this paper it is shown that there is an optical phase transition in the systems of two level atoms and photons, with large detuning and under counter-rotating wave approximation. Our calculations show that such system, even under this approximation have two independent optical phases, the well known #38;nbsp; normal and super-radiant ones. In the normal phase, the ground state of the total Hamiltonian, with a large detuning, is a state for which the mean photon number is zero. On the other hand, when #38;nbsp; #38;nbsp;the atom-photon coupling constant exceeds a critical value, the photon mean number is nonzero when the system is in the ground state, and the system makes a transition to the super-radiant phase. We also show this is a second order phase transition.
