Some of minerals in water essential human health but much of them endangers health. Therefore, it is necessary to use new technologies to transform saltwater into freshwater. RO desalination designed to use for water treatment. The purpose of this study was to modeling the removal of total dissolved solids (TDS) from brackish water of city of Qom. Result of modeling compared with world health organization(WHO) and industrial research of Iran (ISIRI). Software integrated membrane system ( IMS ) used for simulation. Two RO pilot performed during the study to treat brackish water. The main purpose of pilot-scale testing was to evaluate TDS removal using continual flow source treat water and commercial-size membrane elements. Pilot-scale tests performed on a model CPA5-LD4040 with permeate flow 2100 gpd , high rejection and size ( ) . The mean value of the TDS with modeling 164.3 mg/l, the reported values of the 165.46 mg/l theory, almost matching the theory. TDS rejection in this study in 80% recovery was 91.34%. Reverse osmosis water treatment costs lowered by increasing water-use efficiency, reducing energy consumption and increasing flexibility and reliability
