In this study an acid gas enrichment unit with alkanolamines considered as base case and simulated in pro-treat thermodynamic base software. After simulation 9 key parameters in performance of unit operation, selected for response surface methode analysis of variance calculations. Fitted regression models optimized in order to increasing H2S content in acid gas (or decreasing CO2 content) and increasing quality of treated gas by decreasing H2S (and increasing CO2 content). Finally by decreasing vessels size and reboiler duty and also amine temperature in contactor and regenerator, CO2 content in treated gas increased 3% and decreased in acid gas as 3.1%. H2S content in treated gas did not change so much and decreased in acid gas about 6%.After optimization, results compared with real data and a brief economic and technological conclusion were done.
