Microalgae produce of wide variety of pigments and the most common one is chlorophyll. In the present research, application and time exposure (240 minutes) of high frequency ultrasound technique (1.7 MHz) in direct and indirect system was studied in order to enhance lipid extraction by wet biomass of green microalgae Chlorella sp.. The reults were compared with a system without sonication. The optimum exposure duration was found at 60 minutes. The results indicated that direct ultrasound is more effective to extract Chlorophylls
