Cobalt Hexacyanoferrate @ PANI nanocomposite (CoHCF@PANI/Nc) was synthesized via coprecipitation method by through in situ oxidative polymerization by ammonium persulphate. The composite was characterized by XRD and SEM techniques. The XRD pattern confirm the formation and insertion of CoHCF in the backbone of PANI. The results of SEM revealed the formation of irregular particles with average size of 50 nm in diameter. The sorption studies of metal ions on composite cleared that the composite has affinity toward of Zn2+, Pb2+, Ni2+, Cd2+ ions. Batch experiments were carried out as a function of contact time. The kinetic models have been applied to the rate sorption data. The adsorption of ions in aqueous solution onto CoHCF@PANI/Nc approached their equilibrium value at 400 min and the adsorption of ions follows well the pseudo-second-order kinetics
