Gelatin films were prepared from gelatin solutions (10% w/v) containing multi-walled carbonnanotubes (MWCNT, 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2% w/w gelatin) as nanofiller. The mechanical and antibacterialproperties of the films were achieved according to American Society for Testing and Materials.Incorporation of MWCNT caused increase in tensile strength and decease elongation at break of thefilms. All gelatin/MWCNT films showed significant antibacterial activities against both Gram-positiveand Gram negative bacteria in a dose-dependent manner.
