This paper investigates the small-signal stability of a DC microgrid contains constant power loads (CPL). The microgrid includes interlink converters (IC), linear loads and CPL units. IC controller comprises of current management units which affect output impedance of the converter. Also, the input admittance of CPL is changed by its voltage control unit. In this study, the small-signal models of IC and CPL units are obtained regarding their control system. Also, the Node analysis is employed to obtain Dominant modes of overall dc systems using the small-signal equivalent circuit. It is shown that the dominant modes of the microgrid are mainly dictated by the CPL units. Moreover, the sensitivity analysis of these modes is examined by the pole placement method. The main advantage of this method is its deep insight into the effect of dc microgrid parameters on dominant poles. The proposed method of sensitivity analysis is validated by the results of real-time simulation in MATLAB Simulink software.
