A novel quadratic high step-up DC-DC converter is presented in this paper. The great advantages of the proposed converter are high voltage gain, low voltage stress across semiconductor devices, simple control system and high efficiency. The introduced converter can provide high voltage gain, while the introduced converter has no transformers and no coupled inductors. In addition, the proposed converter benefits the lower voltage stress across switches. Therefore, the lower voltage rated switches are suitable to use in the proposed converter. It causes decreasing the switch conduction losses. Moreover, the input current of the proposed converter is continues with low ripple, so the proposed converter is suitable for renewable energy applications. The theoretical analysis of the proposed converter is elaborated as follows. Finally, the simulation results of the proposed converter is presented to validate the performance of the proposed converter.
