High voltage power supplies are widely used in telecommunication systems. To better utilize these power supplies, voltage should be stabilize at a certain level. In this application, in case of changing voltage, the desired output parameters will change, such as RF output power quality. Various methods have been proposed to stabilize the voltage at acceptable levels. One of the most commonly used methods is use of switching regulators that are considered for high efficiency in comparison with linear regulators. But the use of these regulators also has problems. One of these problems is electromagnetic interference which is very important in telecommunication systems. Therefore, the need for linear feed design is needed to avoid this problem. In conventional methods, a series element is used for voltage stabilization. In this way, the power supply losses will be high. In this paper, a structure is proposed for a variable inductor. In this method, the output voltage is stabilized from no-load to full load. Due to the current passing through the inductor, a variable voltage will be generated on the inductor and the desired output voltage will be stabilized. The design should be carried out in such a way that the system is responsive for a wide range of regulator output voltage and stabilizes the voltage without error. Also, the dynamics of the system should be optimal and responsive to instantaneous changes in load. In this paper, due to simulation and practical tests, a structural for variable inductor is proposed and is verified with experimental results.
