In this paper, a high step-up DC-DC converter
using active switched LC- network and voltage-lift circuit is
proposed. This converter can be applied to increase the low
output voltage of distributed energy resources such as
photovoltaic systems (PV) to the required DC bus voltage. The
Voltage-Lift circuit is utilized in the proposed transformerless
converter with active switched LC- network which increased the
voltage gain efficiently with only one extra diode and capacitor.
The functioning method of the proposed converter as well as the
voltage and current relations of each component are extracted
in continuous conduction mode (CCM) and discontinuous
conduction mode (DCM). In addition, the analysis of steadystate
condition and performance comparison of the proposed
converter with some ASL network-based converters are
illustrated. The performance of the proposed step-up converter
is analysed and simulated in the PSIM environment. The results
depict suitable operation of proposed converter as well as good
agreement between theoretical relations and converter
performance.
