Braking disc undergoes many massive loads, not only mechanical, also thermal stress which is the main stress that affects all mechanical properties due to thermo mechanical fatigue. An important mission of the disc brake is how to handle and dissipate all the kinetic energy of the car transformed into heat. In our work, we are going to test numerically and experimentally the behavior of the disc under hard conditions. The numerical results are compared with the experimental ones to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the numerical method used. Then, based on our method we are going to investigate different design possibilities. The numerical analysis consists of CFD and transient thermal analysis, the CFD analysis will present the design influence on cooling rate of the disc brake by the convection coefficient and this should be presented by the temperature difference in the result of the transient thermal analysis.
