Miscible gas injection and WAG injection flooding are two of the most practical EOR methods
used to enhance the amount of hydrocarbon produced. Due to the increasing demands for
hydrocarbon products, it is now more essential to maximize the efficiency in each of these
methods. In this paper, we used Genetic Algorithm (GA) to optimize relative permeability
parameters in LET correlation in Miscible CO2 and WAG (Water Alternating Gas) injection
experiments. To do so, a computer program using Matlab software is coupled with Eclipse
software in order to investigate the effect of changing LET parameters on oil production rate.
Finally, the results of simulation have been compared with laboratory data in order to confirm the
validity of simulation.
