A seawater greenhouse is a greenhouse structure that enables the growth of crops in arid regions, using seawater and solar energy. Two factors of self-sufficiency in water production and the domestic irrigation requirement make the seawater greenhouse to an appropriate way for saving water and reducing water consumption in agricultural activities. Several parameters effect the performance of seawater greenhouse. In this paper, the parameters effecting the performance of seawater greenhouse have been investigated using support vector regression model (SVR). The desired parameters are: the width to length ratio, the height of the evaporator and roof transparency. Then the effects of each parameters on the amount of freshwater production in the seawater greenhouse has been studied. The model has a good conformity whit experimental data. The results showed that, RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) and R2 (square of the correlation coefficient) are 2.4746 and 0.9697, respectivity. Also, greenhouse with a width to length ratio of 0.25, roof transparency of 0.6 and the evaporator height of 4 meters, has a suitable greenhouse with 104 m3/day water production.
